Therapist | Trauma Specialist | Combat Veteran
I’m a trauma-focused therapist with specialized training in EMDR, exposure-based modalities, somatic integration, Cognitive Processing Therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and NARM. My clinical work centers on helping clients—especially veterans, first responders, and high-performance professionals—process trauma, reconnect to themselves, and live more authentic, grounded, and connected lives.
Before becoming a therapist, I served over 20 years in the military, including leading infantry operations in Iraq and defusing hundreds of IEDs as a Marine EOD technician in Afghanistan. I understand what it means to operate under pressure—and what happens when the survival skills we once relied on begin to isolate us or break us down.
I don’t see people as broken. I don’t believe in fixing what’s “wrong.” I believe in enhancing what already works- what’s “right”. Together, we build on your strengths, challenge what’s no longer serving you, and reconnect you with a life of meaning, purpose, and connection. Fulfillment, confidence and contentment are my goals, both for myself and those I have the honor of serving.
I’m currently a Doctor of Social Work candidate at the University of Southern California and practice here in St. Augustine, Florida.
